PRESS RELEASE
8th March 2010
Home coming
Two members from Khehoi Camp return to Hebron today, 8th March, 2010. Mr. Lpinglong Dy. Kilonser, from Phom tribe and son of Lakpan, first joined the national service in 6th February 1996 under NSCN-K. He shifted to NSCN in 3rd Nov. 2009. He was in the Vihokhu Camp when it was attack by the Naga Army, and was among the many senior members who fled in panic. Before joining NSCN he has served as Chairman of the Phom Region from 1996-2005. He was given Tatar in 2005 and remains in that position till 2007. In 2007 he was elevated to Dy. Kilonser in Kilo Ministry. The NSCN authorities welcome him back as Lpinglong confessed his folly of joining K- group.
2nd Lieutenant Hukaito Jimo of Sumi Region, from Lumani village joined the Naga Army in Oct. 2005. As a graduate he was given the rank of S/Maj. But when Azheto Chophi deserted Hebron in Nov. 2007 he followed him. During his more than 2 year s in the khehoi camp his conscience was pricked with guiltiness and he was never in peace of mind. He always feels that Hebron is his place because it was the Naga Army that gave him training and motivated him. And he always looks forward to rejoin the mainstream organization. He felt happy and proud that he is back to where he belongs.
