The United Sangtam Region (USR) held a General Meeting on the 27th August, 2022 chaired by Mr. Toivi, Kilonser and Mr. Tali Sangtam, Tatar, as Secretary at the residence of Mr. TTAmong, Member, Collective Leadership, NSCN.
The meeting had fruitful interaction on the ongoing Indo-Naga political talks and the position of the political stand of the region.
Political class was given by Mr. TT Among, Member, Collective Leadership, NSCN. The meeting decided to adopt resolute stand to support the Collective Leadership under Yaruiwo Q. Tuccu, Kedallo Tongmeth Wangnao and Ato Kilonser Th. Muivah who is also the Chief Negotiator of NSCN in the Indo-Naga political dialogue.
The house further took the resolute stand to reaffirm support to the historic Framework Agreement signed on 3rd August, 2015 between the Government of India and National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN).
The house also decided to support the decision taken on the 31st May, 2022, National Assembly and the Co-ordination meeting of the National Workers of NSCN of Nagaland state on the 26th August, 2022, at Agri-Expo, Dimapur.
