I raise a Nagalim flag today.
I know it’s a beautiful flag.
It represents my land.
The best in the world.
So proudly here I stand and saw it fly.
Its glory rose above my fears.
Its freedom though denied.
The symbol of our country.
And the banner of our pride.

For the entire world to see.
With a beautiful sky-blue background signifies the everlasting.
The lakes are opening inside in love,
Their hundred thousand rainbows to welcome thee.
Thou lord of light display the three colours.
Justifies the red as courage and yellow as beauty and honesty,
And green as its wealth and prosperity.
Our hearts are filled with a sense of deep pride,
And solitude to see the star with six points,
In three colours of white.
Reason being guidance, peace and tranquillity,
I raise a Nagalim flag today,
With a smile upon my face.
Through dreary oceans through primeval forests.
Each step a struggle for the life or death,
For then come the day when work bore fruit,
And worship, sacrifice fulfilled and accepted.
Then thou propitious rose to shed the light
Of freedom and mankind.
Nagalim the country of our birth we love the freedom
I lisped it on my father and mother’s knees,
With this beautiful flag, my land
My own dear native land thou art a lovely land to me.
I am proud where men are born free in the country called Nagalim.
Blessed is the Naga Nation whose God is Lord.
