CONDEMNATION NOTE

The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) is shocked to learn the killing of Mr. Yumsem Matey, a former Congress legislator from West Khonsa, Arunachal Pradesh. We abhor this kind of dastardly act whatever be the reason. In his death, the Nagas have lost a young dynamic leader.
Ironically, resorting to political killing is not going to take us anywhere. Certainly, there is always a wide range of means to look for resolving political conflicts or differences. The violent use of guns as a tool to settle political scores is going too far and against the rule of humanity.
NSCN condemns such a mindless act of killing in strongest term.
