ATO KILONSER
GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF NAGALIM
SOLIDARITY MESSAGE
Oking: 9th July, 2022
On this day, the 35th Remembrance Day of the Onae Reh Dah, I give my revolutionary salute to all the victims, the families, the people of Onaeme village and the surrounding villages that have faced one of the most brutal and cowardly acts ever meted to the Naga people in the infamous “Operation Bluebird” launched by the Indian armed forces.
I am with the Naga people in the expression of the deepest pain that our people had to face and endure the brute of the most inhuman act of an army belonging to a nation that boasts of its democratic and liberal ideologies. It hurts and left me broken when I was informed of the brutalities meted out to the innocent people. The fact that India and its celebrated judiciary refused to acknowledge the Naga people screaming blue murder is even more painful. It is nothing less than spitting on the graves of the dead.
My people had to go through such pains and sufferings from the oppressors when we only desired for a respect to the identity that we uniquely possess. I stand proud of the spirit which the Onaeme villagers and Poumai Naga people possess for strengthening the Naga National movement. With or without justice from the Indian judiciary, I believe this incident stands as a landmark to the unimaginable atrocities that have been rampantly executed against the innocent Nagas.
I hold firm in my mind that this very day needs to be celebrated as a victory day for the Naga people. For, this day brought victory in the form of resilience of the Naga people not to submit to the Indian forces.
Taking this opportunity, I re-assert to the Naga people that we have suffered enough of the brutes and that the ultimate justice to these sacrifices can only be SOVEREIGNTY; free from the oppressors. This case is only one of the many inhumane acts committed by the Indian armed forces in the Naga homeland.
On behalf of the NSCN/GPRN and the Naga people, I reassure that the sufferings and the toils will never go in vain but the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs will be honoured by upholding the Naga National principle.
K U K N A L I M!
