Condolence Message

The untimely demise of Mr. Limachuba Jamir, member of the Collective Leadership, NSCN, in New Delhi, has come to us with a deep sense of shock and despair. I, on behalf of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) express profound grief at the loss of an able and a young leader. His absence from our midst will be deeply felt.
Across the years of his service to the Naga nation we have seen him giving hope and inspiration to his community and that is what counts the most for any revolutionary freedom fighter. Therefore, the passing away of Limachuba means an irreparable loss to the Naga nation in general and to the NSCN in particular. The vacuum thus created would be difficult to fill. Today we pay our tribute to him for giving his best to the Naga nation.
During his 25 years of selfless service to the Naga nation he has proved himself as a true son of the soil. His name will descend to posterity as one who possessed a strong conviction about the historical and political rights of the Naga people and contributed his everything to stand by it till the last moment of his life.
We are here today to express our collective solidarity to his wife and family members. May God give them the courage and strength to handle the situation with the belief in His purpose! We pray to the Almighty God to rest the soul of Limachuba in eternal peace.
