To the attention of all citizens and residents of Phek District
It has come to the notice of the CAO, Chakhesang Region, that certain illegal activities, including the illicit sale of liquor, drug peddling and extortion are being carried out within the jurisdiction of Phek District, Chakhesang Region.
In exercise of the power conferred by the NSCN/GPRN and the Code of Criminal Procedure, the public is hereby notified and strictly warned against engaging in the following illegal activities:
- Illegal sale of liquor: No person or establishment is permitted to sell or distribute intoxicating liquor. All violators will be served with severe action.
- Drug peddling: The trafficking, sale and possession of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances are strictly prohibited by the NSCN, GPRN. Violators will be served with severe action.
- Extortion and illegal taxation: Any individual or group involved in extorting money, imposing taxes on businessmen or individual using and defaming the NSCN, GPRN will be prosecuted to the fullest extend as deem fit by the NSCN, GPRN.
