The Ladies Unit, Naga Army, celebrated 25 Years of Raising Day “Sisters in Arms: Unveiling the Legacy” on the 26th March, 2024 at Ladies Unit Compound, General Headquarters, Naga Army.
His Excellency, the Kedallo Ino Tongmeth Wangnao graced the function as the Chief Guest. He addressed the gathering with complementary remarks that ladies are sincere and dedicated in their service.
The Commanding Officer, Ladies Unit, Naga Army, Lieut. Col. Leishimi Muinao, MSM, in her welcome address said, “As we celebrate this milestone of the Ladies Unit Silver Jubilee on this day the 26th March, 2024, let us reflect on the sacrifices made, the challenges overcome, and the victories achieved. Because it was through the sacrifices of our esteemed pioneers and seniors that we get this opportunity to gather here with jubilant hearts”.
The audience applauded the pioneers of the Ladies Unit of Naga Army with standing ovation.
The Ladies Unit of Naga Army came into existence in the year 1999.
