The NSCN vehemently condemn the unprovoked joint attack carried out by the 5/2 Gurkha Regiment upon NSCN cadres in the wee hours at khoupumkhuntak in Manipur’s Noney District. Where Segt. Maj. Solomon son of Ningdaipou of Lungrang village was killed and injuredLieut.Kahaolung son of Namthuidiyang of Bamgaijang village on 23rd Feb. 2017.
A villager woman identified as 50 year old Mrs.Kadijinliuof KhoupumChingkao under Nungba Sub-division wife of Mr. Sazangrei got injured and succumbed after reaching RIMS Imphal.
In another incident the NSCN denounce the dastardly act of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) cadres where the NSCN cadres were waylaid and injured one Pte.Lanjaisin son of Gongjai of Longmai village.
The NSCN informs ZUF-boys that remaining quite, watching as a silent spectator by restraining ourselves does not mean that NSCN is weak and feeble. But we are restraining ourselves not to hurt the sentiment of the people. Hence forth, the NSCN will leave no stone unturned but to show an exemplary and root-out the killers.
The NSCN expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families of bereaved and wish a speedy recovery for the injured one and pray that Almighty God grant them solace and lighten the burden of near and dear ones at this time of misery.
