The Framework Agreement has become a milestone for the Nagas which was signed between the NSCN and the GoI on August 3rd 2015 on behalf of the Nagas. Some greedy people trying to rebut the “Framework Agreement” without any decency but to distort the “Framework Agreement” with itchy drive so called the “The content of its Agreement” to be disclosed with their obligatory manner when the Naga issue has entered a new remarkable stage and had gained momentum during the last few years engaging a dialogue with the GoI in the right direction and where both the entities NSCN and GoI were seriously committed to inking on a deeper level than ever before for unconditional settlement.
When the Prime Minister of India reposing authenticity towards the Naga aspiration, the Naga should have more “accommodative spirit to shoulder the destiny of the Nagas. In spite of appreciating the NSCN the attitude of few dogmatic writers are confrontational to Naga solution. If we are true Naga one should not create any logjam towards our objective. Seeing the present grim scenario it is mixed with “disappointment” created by some few vested people. When the GoI expressed deep satisfaction towards the Naga issue by recognizing the “uniqueness of the Nagas and its situation”
At this crucial stage when the entire Naga populace are sincerely yearning for the final settlement there are some individuals trying to sabotage the Peace talk between the NSCN and GoI by projecting a new means as “Nagas of Nagaland” and spreading a treacherous venom to mislead the people by their menacing atrocious strategy with a tagline “The Content of its Framework Agreement” todisgrace the aspiration of the Nagas, but their uninspiring campaign will not deterthe dedication of the true Nagas. The Naga are sure that NSCN will bring Peace and honorable negotiated settlement of the Naga goals.
During the historic occasion honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on his flawless speech on the historic day he thanked the Naga leaders particularly for their wisdom and courage which has resulted in this historic agreement that had lingered for more than six decades. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi ever since becoming the Prime Minister of India has been deeply concerned in resolving the protracted Naga political issue. He also pronounce this “Framework Agreement” as a shining example of what India can achieved and not only mark this historic agreement merely the end of the problem but the beginning of the “New Era” and said India will not only try to heal the wounds and resolved the problem but also be a part of Naga pride and prestige and declared the Nagalim as the “Guardian” of Indian Eastern Frontier and the Gateway to the world beyond, equally the India will also join the Nagas in shaping the future and dignityof Nagas as we dawn a new glorious chapter with sense of self confident and self respect.
Majority of the Naga people had democratically mandated in favor of the Naga solution through numerous consultative meetings.Though much write ups as well as of abuse have been inundating in the press and social media. The Naga must know that we have enter a decisive steps in the recent past which firmly takes Naga steps ahead in her aspirationas deserving. Naga people should also know that there can be no better platform to contemplate our actions towards our goal if we missed this opportunity. The GoI has recognized thelegal rights of the Nagas and candidly proclaimed “Integration the legitimate right of the Nagas” .Whether we like it or not there is going to be a transformation in the history of the Naga very soon.
