NSCN REFUTE MR. ZHALIPU (NGBF)’S STATEMENT

At no point of time NSCN Chairman Q. Tuccu and Deputy Ato Kilonser General Atem have given their consent on the common drafting out of the Framework Agreement and Agreed Position into a single agreement as made to understand by the statement given by Zhalipu of NGBF. This is blatant lie and tantamount to be charged for breach of faith and malicious damage to NSCN’s political standing that strongly advocated for principle-based solution to Naga political solution.
No doubt, NGBF met General Atem on the issue on February 4th, 2025. But there was no official commitment in any manner whatsoever. NGBF were only told that the matter would be discussed by NSCN and decision would be taken accordingly if the need arise.
