GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF NAGALIM

When National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) refused to sign agreement without flag and constitution, it means we want the solution that is honorable and acceptable. But, when WC of NNPGs decided to go ahead with the economic packages, they should not have gone for some other thing which has nothing to do with the contemporary needs of the Nagas. This is about Kukis recruited by Mr. Singson from Manipur and those Kukis being given training at Khehoi Camp of Unification party. It is learned that around eighty (80) Kukis are undergoing training. What is this for when the Nagas are at the threshold of signing the historic agreement to bring lasting peace in Nagalim?
The volatile atmosphere in Manipur between the Nagas and Kukis is all because of Kuki’s claim of Kuki homeland despite their historical refugee status and their opposition to Naga political settlement based on the Framework Agreement. In recent time, the Kuki organizations has been spitting venom against Nagas that Framework Agreement should have nothing to do with areas settled by the Kukis in Manipur. Going belligerent, the so calledKuki National Organization (KNO) have taken the stand to align with the Meiteis who are equally in belligerent mode ready for a showdown if Government of India concede to the demand of NSCN.
It is, however, not difficult to understandthe reason for Khehoi Camp to give training to the Kukis of Manipur. It is Singson’s sinister plan to send back the recruits to Manipur to join KNO/SoO (Suspension of Operations) to confront the Nagas in pursuit of their (Kukis’) Territorial Council. This act of duplicity by Unification party stands in total contrast to what it claimed to stand for as Naga nationalist organization. Their action is not speaking loud enough to prove their Naga freedom fighter credentials. How come aNaga organization is giving training to Kukis to fight against the Naga people in Manipur? This depravity and hypocrisy cannot be condone with.
