PRESS STATEMENT, the 1st September, 2023: NSCN condemns Indian Army’s Assam Rifles (AR)

GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF NAGALIM

Ministry of Information and Publicity

PRESS STATEMENT

Oking, the 1st September, 2023

The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN), particularly the Naga Army, have taken a strong exception to what happened on the 29th August, 2023 in the hands of the 43rd Assam Rifles (AR) manned security check gate at Doyapur en-route to Hebron Camp/Council Headquarters (CHq) of NSCN/GPRN.

Such an overbearing manner of the AR has never come in good taste for the NSCN engaged in the Indo-Naga political talks for the last many years since 1997.

It is the spirit of the ceasefire to sustain the on-going political dialogue that NSCN has been patiently bearing with all the inconveniences and incendiary behaviour of Indian Security Forces.

MIP, NSCN/GPRN
